Switchable, works both to connect s-video / composite video (yellow rca) + stereo to the scart input on a TV, or to get s-video / composite video / stereo from a scart output of eg. a video or DVD player.
Note - the adapter only works if the device it is really connected to has the signals you want to use connected in the scart connector. If the TV does not support s-video, then it will NOT work.
