Matrix Freedom DVD Drive PCB - Unlocked circuit board for Liteon readers is for you with a locked circuit board.
The special thing about Matrix Freedom PCB is that once you have flashed and mounted it once, you can update with new firmware without having to unscrew your XBOX 360 again! It comes with cables that are pulled to the outside of the xbox to control the write protection and connect the flash tools externally.

Liteon 9504 is locked as of the Live Update on July 19, 2011. All other models are locked from the factory.
The locked PCBs can be read but not flashed, so you replace it and at the same time fit in with a flashing that allows the use of backup games.
Fits currently with LiteOn readers 9504, 0225, 0225u, 0227 and 0401.
To dump and write to the reader / circuit board, you need Xbox 360 USB PRO and Connectivity Kit 3 Lite . You can find these in "See also ..." on the right.
