HD Fury III is one of the most powerful HDCP decodors ever produced. It has two HDMI 1.3 inputs with support for Deep ColourTM, auto / manual switching between the inputs, 5.1 Dolby Digital / DTS sound, perfect centralization of the image, and you can change the resolution and other choices via switches on the adapter!

Why do I need a HD Fury III?

How old is your HDTV or projector? If purchased before 2005, it does not have an HDMI input. This means you will never be able to use it to the full potential with PS3, Xbox 360, Blu-ray players, PC graphics cards and TV boxes in 1080p FULL HD resolution.

Without an HDMi input, most screens can only handle 480p in most cases - that's just one-sixth of the 1080p FULL HD resolution. Then you need HD Fury III to unlock the power of your screen! Why buy a new expensive HDTV when your regular works great? Increase the value of your TV with HD Fury III.

Can't I use the component output on my Blu-ray player and other devices?

No, not without serious restrictions:

Blu-ray, HD DVD, DVD player and PS3 and Xbox 360 do not scale up standard DVD movies to 1080p over analog outputs. They are limited to 480p only. HD Fury III comes across this limitation.

If the Image Constraint Token is copied on Blu-ray or HD DVDs, it lowers the resolution from 1080p to 540p, one-fifth of the resolution, over analog outputs. HD Fury III comes across this limitation.

And most importantly: The picture quality is much worse over analog outputs. HD Fury III comes across this limitation.

HD Fury III is what you need to add HDMI 1.3 and take your TV to the next generation and give you the best picture possible.

Will HD Fury III work for me?

1. Does your screen support any of these resolutions: 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 1080i, or 1080p?

2. Does it have component or VGA inputs?

Differences to older models of HD Fury:

The difference between HD Fury II and HD Fury III in YUV mode is almost impossible to see, in RGB mode you can see a difference depending on how they are used. HD Fury III performs better in special resolutions. In addition to product quality, they have focused on features and compatibility instead.

They have solved the "LEFT SHIFT" problem in RGB mode without the need for an external box to fix the problem.

There is now an adjustable sync polarity (for Barco owners mainly). Several EDID to recalculate resolution. STB with automatic recognition for screens that are not capable of 1080p.

All of these features should fix most problems users have had with HD Fury and HD Fury II. It makes installation easy and easy.

More about the differences:

With the production of HD Fury III, the component features were left intact while RGB and sound were remodeled from the ground up and improved. Now the "LEFT SHIFT" problem is out of the world and you can set the image to the right and left with a few simple button presses.

The color depth scaling setting is now selectable, set via a DIP switch. HD Fury III now has four programmable EDID banks, two used to limit the resolution to 1080i, can be set via DIP switches. A very useful feature for anyone with a TV that supports 1080i but not 1080p and has sources where you cannot adjust the resolution.

There are also two HDMI 1.3 inputs with Deep Color support, port is selected automatically or manually. Blurred RGB display owners can use the new H / V sync polarity setting via a DIP switch.

The bandwidth of the RGB pixel clock is expanded to 225MHz (1080p / 72 now works perfectly)!

The higher bandwidth of HD Fury III also makes it much cooler than HD Fury II.
