This product applies to customers who received information that we need to replace BOTH hdmi connector and HDMI-IC chip in Playstation 4.
We usually only know this after troubleshooting. The most common error is that only the HDMI connector is replaced, and it is usually visible based on whether it is broken.
If the HDMI connector looks completely undamaged but you do not get a picture, it may be the HDMI-IC chip that has broken.
Sometimes both the contact and the chip have broken, e.g. due to short circuit in the damaged contact. Then this package price applies as long as there are no more complications such as ruptured wiring paths / connection points on the motherboard.
