SmartXX v3.0 fits all XBOX
This together with Xecuter 3 is the most advanced chip on the market. The SmartXX v3.0 has more memory than the X-ecuter 3, and an incredible number of extra features.
The main difference between SmartXX v3.0 and SmartXX lt / opx is that v3.0 has twice as much memory space and thus allows for an FTP server "ED on a chip" directly from one of the chip's memory banks. With "ED on a chip" you can access the files on the xbox hard disk even if you accidentally delete / modify the system files so that the xbox cannot boot from the hard disk.
You can of course use "ED on a chip" on SmartXX lt / opx, but you have to upload the program over the network every time you want to use it as it will not fit permanently on the chip.
NEWS with SmartXX 3.0:
NO switch is required for configuring the chip's functions / selecting bios etc. Everything is controlled with the joypad and a menu on the TV.
Divide the chip's memory (3.5M for BIOS, 0.5M reserved for the chip's own operating system) into different 256K, 512K, 1024K, 2048K banks.
Backup BIOS on the chip - there is always the possibility of flashing the chip if you accidentally flash in a non-functioning bios. Select any bios file on your hard disk or CDROM. No cables / no computer is needed unlike x-ecuter 2 PRO / XBIT
Extra features to back up the xbox's EPROM to the chip's memory, set ntsc / pal video mode, select game region and dvd region etc.
